We use functional exercises as our training method, because it works! This is is the most efficient and effective exercise program out there. Our program is based on Functional Movements (like squatting, lifting, pushing, pulling) that have been around for thousands of years. In spite of all modern technology and machines you see at most gyms or “health clubs” today, these movements have survived the test of time for one reason only – they get results.
A spin class is a high intensity cycling workout that generally takes place on a stationary machine with a heavy, weighted flywheel that is linked to the pedals.
In one word: intense. Classes lasts 45 minutes, during which, riders move through phases of different speeds and resistance levels. Strength-building moves are often incorporated, and some classes may even utilize resistance bands or light weights for an upper body workout.
Pilates is a form of exercise which concentrates on strengthening the body with an emphasis on core strength. This helps to improve general fitness and overall well-being.
Pilates concentrates on posture, balance and flexibility. In Pilates the chance of injury is much lower than with other more strenuous forms of exercise.
Fitness boot camps offer an opportunity to build your strength and endurance.
Boot camp workouts can vary but generally include a fairly intense mix of strength training and aerobic elements. One boot camp workout might stress calisthenics while another stresses military-style drills.
Our Personal trainers possess the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to design safe and effective fitness programs. We instruct and assist people in reaching personal health and fitness goals.
